Boise State vs. Nevada: Live Score and Highlights
Brian Losness-USA TODAY Sports

Final score: Boise State 34, Nevada 17

The Boise State Broncos (5-2, 3-1 MWC) took on the Nevada Wolf Pack (3-4, 2-2 MWC) in a homecoming Mountain Division showdown on the blue turf of Bronco Stadium on Saturday.

The game was a roller coaster ride for the Broncos as they lost their starting quarterback Joe Southwick on the first offensive play from the line of scrimmage.

However, his backup Grant Hedrick stepped up big time for the Broncos, and It will be interesting to see how the team plays the rest of the season if Southwick is out for the long term.

Update: Joe Southwick has a broken ankle and out for a while.
