Marqise Lee Re-Injures Left Knee vs. Notre Dame
Marqise Lee has been dealing with a knee injury this season, and unfortunately that same knee got hurt once again in USC's game against Notre Dame.
Ryan Abraham from USCFootball.com reported that Lee was out for the rest of the game with a knee injury.
RT @USC_Athletics: USC WR Marqise Lee is OUT for the rest of the game with a left knee injury.— Ryan Abraham (@insidetroy) October 20, 2013
Before the injury, Lee had just two receptions for 18 yards in the game.
On the season, Lee has put up 32 receptions for 403 yards and just one interception. After being one of the top NFL prospects at wide receiver to start the year, Lee's stock has dropped considerably with the lack of production and the concerns with his knee.
The Trojans aren't having the kind of year they were hoping for so far. They're just 4-2 and 1-2 in the Pac-12 with losses to Washington State and Arizona State.
This offense could really use Lee, but if he's forced to miss even more time, that's really bad news for the Trojans.
