Auburn Defeats Texas A&M in Stunning Upset
Despite all of the big numbers that Texas A&M put up, they were unable to pull out the win, losing 45-41 to Auburn.
Johnny Manziel was big for the Aggies and played through a shoulder injury trying to lead his team to a win. He put up over 500 total yards and had five total touchdowns to go along with two interceptions.
Meanwhile, Mike Evans had the biggest game of his career. He had 11 receptions for 287 yards and four touchdowns.
Unfortunately for the Aggies, the Tigers were just too much. Nick Marshall had a huge game, putting up 336 total yards and four total touchdowns. Tre Mason had a big game on the ground, running for 178 yards and a touchdown on 27 carries.
Mason's touchdown came at just the right moment, reaching out over his offensive lineman and getting the go-ahead touchdown with just 1:19 remaining. Manziel tried to lead the Aggies back down the field, but they were stopped on fourth down near the end zone after Manziel was sacked.
Auburn has completely turned things around after a rough 2012 season, now at 6-1 and 3-1 in the SEC. Meanwhile, the Aggies are now going to struggle to get a BCS bid with a 5-2 record.
