“I feel really good, actually, after the circumstances,’’ Kronwall said following the club’s morning skate at Jobing.com Arena. “No issues. So far so good.’’
Kronwell goes on to explain why he feels he is at fault for the hit that left him injured:
“I shouldn’t put myself in that situation,’’ Kronwall said. “I know he’s a forechecker, he’s one of their more physical guys, (but) he’s just trying to do his job and I put both of us in a bad spot.’’

Kronwall has appeared in each of Detroit's first eight games, scoring a goal and adding six assists. He's been one of the Red Wings' best defensemen, helping to get the team to fifth in goals-against average (2.3) and fifth in penalty killing (85.7 percent).
Losing Kronwall for any period of time would be a big loss for Detroit.
