Kansas High Schooler Channels Jadeveon Clowney on Huge Block

Kyle Newport@@KyleNewportFeatured ColumnistOctober 17, 2013

South Carolina defensive lineman Jadeveon Clowney put himself on the map with a hit that blew everyone away, and a high school receiver from Kansas did his best impersonation as he made a huge block.

This differs from Clowney's hit for a couple of reasons. Hill City High School's Mekhai Bates, the kid who made the block, plays an offensive skill position, and his hit led to a touchdown.

How does this hit compare to Clowney's?

Hat tip to Bob's Blitz for the find.
