This article is about the return of Kevin Garnett for the Celtics in the 2009-10. I thought that it was a good decision for Coach Doc Rivers to keep The Big Ticket out of the playoffs for this year and to let him start off next season with a healthy start.

The impact for the Celtics having him in the playoffs would have probably lead to the same outcome as it did. The Celtics would have beaten the Bulls and probably squeezed out a game seven win against the Magic. When they got to play the Cleveland Cavaliers, they would have been put out.

Next year, the Celtics will probably go to the NBA Finals and they might have a chance to win it if they have a healthy Kevin Garnett and a strong team next season.
