Yellow Card of the Week: Ravel Morrison, the Potential Genius Who Must Be Tamed

Will Tidey@willtideySenior Manager, GlobalOctober 17, 2013

Ravel Morrison is really impressing me this season. He's always had the ability, but he's started to channel that raw talent into measurable output for both West Ham and the England Under-21s.

There's a chance, albeit a slim one for now, that his talent could see him all the way to Brazil with England's senior team next summer.

For that to happen, Morrison must mature. And he must avoid the kind of embarrassing incident that marred his match-winning performance for the Under-21s against Lithuania.

For the first time in B/R history, the same man wins our hero award and picks up a yellow card in the same week.

Morrison is special all right. He just needs to grow up a little.
