McGahee is likely to be the forgotten man again Sunday as the Browns take on the Packers. Playing from behind last week, he had only 10 carries for 37 rushing yards and one catch for two receiving yards against the Detroit Lions.
McGahee caught on with the Browns through a period of time when the team appeared to have a sense of direction, parlaying that into a 26-carry, 72-yard performance. His touchdown in that game is the only one he has scored this season and the only time he has cracked 50 yards rushing. Without a shift in philosophy, he will continue to be overlooked with the Browns’ devotion to the passing game.
