Robert Woods: Week 7 Fantasy Outlook

RotoWireContributor October 16, 2013

Woods will slip back into the No. 2 receiver role with Stevie Johnson likely back at things in Week 7 against Miami, and after catching just two balls for nine yards last week, it's hard to feel great about his upside. That said, Woods has had a few competent games this year and probably won't be a black hole in fantasy lineups this week against a giving Miami pass defense.
It's concerning that he didn't find much chemistry with Thaddeus Lewis, who's going to be under center for the next month-plus, but there's still time. While Woods has a reasonably reliable floor as a guy who's been heavily targeted this season, he isn't a big-play receiver and hasn't exceeded 80 yards in a game. He's a flex option for deeper leagues, but not much more.
