Brandon Gibson: Week 7 Fantasy Outlook

RotoWireContributor October 16, 2013

Gibson has worked his way into a solid role in the Miami passing game, as he's reeled in 70-plus yards in consecutive weeks. He should again see his share of looks against Buffalo in Week 7, and could be an intriguing sleeper for deeper formats against the Bills' generous pass defense.
The biggest knock on Gibson is that he hasn't scored a touchdown this year, but on the bright side, he's seen a red-zone target in three straight weeks, so a breakthrough could be forthcoming. While the Bills pick up a lot of passes, they've allowed an average of 270 yards and two touchdowns through the air per game, and it's not unusual for Ryan Tannehill to throw 35-40 times. All that adds up to some upside for Gibson, especially in PPR formats.
