Ryan Tannehill: Week 7 Fantasy Outlook

RotoWireContributor October 16, 2013

Tannehill went into the bye with a 300-yard, one-TD effort in a loss to the Ravens, and he'll look to build on that hint of success in Week 7 against a Buffalo defense that's giving up 270 yards and two passing touchdowns per game to quarterbacks, but also has intercepted a league-high-tying 10 passes. Tannehill's been prone to the INT, having thrown as many picks as touchdowns in his career -- 18 each -- and he's also lost three fumbles already this year.
This is an interesting instance of a mediocre, turnover-prone QB encountering a defense that's willing to give up yards in exchange for turnovers. Tannehill will likely go for more than 200 yards and throw a couple touchdown passes, but it wouldn't be surprising to see him throw two or three picks. That makes him usable in two-QB leagues, at least.
