Kenbrell Thompkins: Week 7 Fantasy Outlook

RotoWireContributor October 16, 2013

Thompkins had his fantasy day saved last week by a last-minute touchdown catch, but still totaled less than 50 yards for the fifth time in six games this year and continues to post low catch rates, as he reeled in just three of six targets against the Saints and has caught just 21 of 50 passes from Tom Bady so far this year. This week, he draws a Jets pass defense that doesn't give up a ton of yards, but has allowed 10 TD passes.
Thompkins managed just two catches for 47 yards in his last game against the Jets, Week 2 in New England, and things will probably be pretty similar this time around. The one saving grace of his fantasy value has been a hearty number of red-zone looks, but those promise to evaporate pretty soon with the return of Rob Gronkowski imminent.
