Tom Brady: Week 7 Fantasy Outlook

RotoWireContributor October 16, 2013

Brady's fantasy value is hard to pin down at this point. With his cast of receivers constantly in turmoil, the star quarterback has yet to put together a three-TD game -- he didn't even get into the end zone until the final minute last week against New Orleans -- and things don't get easier this week against the tough Jets defense. The silver lining of facing New York's solid secondary, though, is that they only have one interception all year.
The wild card remains the return of Rob Gronkowski, a potent chain-mover and red-zone target who could wholly resurrect Brady's fantasy value all on his own. Danny Amendola is concussed again, but Julian Edelman has filled that Wes Welker role reliably. Gronkowski is the missing piece, and while there seems to be a chance he'll be back for Brady this week, it also seemed that way the last two weeks.
