After posting a 141-yard, two-touchdown performance in Week 1, Cook has averaged just 34 receiving yards in the five games since. He's had a number of drops already and as a result, has seen a reduced number of targets over his last two games.
The Panthers are actually 21st in the league at defending against the tight end position, but they still only give up an average of 48.6 yards per game to them. While Cook may have an opportunity to redeem himself in part this week, it has been fellow tight end Lance Kendricks who has seen the red zone looks and subsequent touchdown grabs.
