With Mike Goodson hurt, Ivory has the No. 2 role in the Jets' backfield all to himself in Week 7 against New England, which means a lot more to him than it does to fantasy owners. Ivory hasn't gained more than 52 yards or scored a touchdown all year, and he's only received four carries in each of his last three games.
While Ivory's shown some good burst at times, his injury-prone nature and the emergence of the reliable (if unspectacular) Bilal Powell have conspired to keep him off the field. Ivory's theoretically the Jets' goal-line back, but was pulled from that role last week. Still, he's a hard runner who could theoretically score some goal-line TDs, although he plays for a Jets team that won't afford him too many of those opportunities.
