Fantasy Baseball's Week 8 Start/sit

As the contenders are establishing themselves, the pretenders are fading away.

This week we will look at real and fake fantasy player potential. This leads to this week’s Start/Sit for week 8.

Starting Pitcher in focus: Justin Verlander.
After a shaky start to the season, Verlander has been great. Is he a contender or a pretender? Contender without a doubt; over his last four starts, he is 3-0 with 57 strikeouts in only 41 2/3 innings.

In those starts, his WHIP has been under 1.00, and has dropped his ERA by two runs. Verlander will pitch twice in week 8 against the Royals and Orioles; both are great matchups for the hard throwing right-hander...
