Detroit Pistons guard Brandon Jennings' bothersome wisdom tooth was apparently a more serious issue than anyone previously thought, as tests showed Jennings had an impacted tooth with a fracture at the base.

Vincent Goodwill of the Detroit News notes that Jennings will miss at least three weeks before being reevaluated:

Jennings out for 3 weeks with impacted wisdom tooth and hairline fracture at the base of the tooth. Will be re-evaluated then #Pistons

He is set to return in a bench role to make his Pistons debut.
