Josh Freeman: Week 7 Fantasy Outlook

RotoWireContributor October 15, 2013

Freeman's ascension to the Vikings starting job appears to be accelerating thanks to a two interception performance by Matt Cassel in Week 6. While not assured he'll start, Freeman is the likely choice to take snaps in Week 7.
Freeman would be an intriguing pick should he be named the starter. The Giants are allowing 268 yards per game through the air, and Freeman can make plays down field. Coach Leslie Frazier indicated he'd name a starter Wednesday at team prepares for Monday night's tilt, and if it's Freeman, he could be a worthwhile gamble as a QB2.
