In case you were wondering, all the videos released by Dude Perfect to date have not been “extreme.”
Their prior work has been “awesome” and “ridiculous,” but their resume has yet to include helicopters, zip-lines and skeet-shooting madness.
The newest installment of Dude Perfect is called "Extreme Trick Shots"—a title which may sound redundant, but is really the only way to explain the magnitude and nature of this new mixtape.
The video of “Extreme Trick Shots” was spotted by J. Camm of BroBible.com, and it's exactly what you imagine a mountain vacation with Dude Perfect would be like. To make the video, the “Ambassadors of Fun” headed out to West Virginia to visit the Paul R. Christen National High Adventure Base at The Summit.
Mind you, it’s not a camp—it’s a base. Furthermore, it's a mountain base that has everything from zip-lining to a skatepark and a five-story treehouse.
Naturally, the Dude Perfect guys weren’t afraid to make use of the space, and appeared to have found a way to make a trick shot out of every landmark and obstacle possible.
Basketballs are blasted with shotguns, thrown over rock walls and dropped from bridges—and that’s not even getting into the football stunts or panda bear BMX-ing.
Moving past the stunts, it’s great to see that Tyler “The Bearded Guy” Toney is awful at skateboarding. After heading out to the mountain-top skatepark, Toney struggles to stand on a skateboard and repeatedly skins his leg on the concrete.
“I’m a baller not a skater,” Tony says, before failing to wiggle out of his elbow pads.
As someone who left a trail of tears and scabs behind him every time he attempted to skateboard as a kid, I understand Toney’s frustration. You’re here to throw the rock—not be the best at standing on stuff.
That being said, this is probably the biggest and most involved mixtape Dude Perfect has ever released, and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t planning a trip to The Summit this very moment.
