Freeman was officially active for the Colts tonight according to Mike Wells of ESPN.com:

Undrafted in 2008, Freeman signed with the Colts in January of 2012. It turned out to be a brilliant move for Indianapolis.
The 27-year-old tallied 145 total tackles, 2.0 sacks, one interception, two pass deflections and a forced fumble as a rookie last year and was replicating that production in 2013.
Before Sunday's contest, he had 43 tackles, 3.0 sacks and two forced fumbles through just five games. He had a game-high eight total tackles before leaving the contest against San Diego.
Backing up Freeman at inside linebacker are Mario Harvey and Kavell Conner, who was inactive on Sunday. Kelvin Sheppard is next on the depth chart.
The Colts get the Denver Broncos next week, so it's safe to say everyone in Indianapolis will be desperately hoping for a speedy recovery from Freeman. He is one of the team's most vital defensive players.
