Current NBA free-agent point guard Chris Duhon was the victim of a reported hit-and-run incident on Saturday night, as a stranger reportedly intentionally struck him with a car in an Orlando parking garage.

Holly Bristow of WOFL Fox 35 Orlando has the news:

Orlando police investigators said a driver intentionally hit a man with his car in the middle of a Plaza Parking Garage in Downtown Orlando around 7 p.m. Saturday.  It turns out, the man struck by the car is former Orlando Magic Guard, Chris Duhon.

According to police, via Bristow's report, Duhon and his brother-in-law, Julio Hernandez, were walking in the parking garage when they got into an argument with the driver of a black Lexus, who honked at them to get out of the way.

After the driver got out of the car and took part in a "face-to-face" confrontation with Duhon, he got back into his car while Duhon and Hernandez began to walk away.

The driver then accelerated toward them, hitting just Duhon, who reportedly hit his head on the windshield and didn't remember the accident. Fortunately, though, he didn't suffer any major injuries and was able to leave the hospital that night.

Duhon plans on pressing charges if the suspect is caught, and according to Bristow, the police are treating the incident as aggravated battery.

The 31-year-old enjoyed a successful four-year career at Duke, winning a national championship with the Blue Devils in 2001. A second-round pick in 2004, he has played with the Chicago Bulls, New York Knicks, Orlando Magic and, most recently, Los Angeles Lakers.

He was waived by L.A. in June.
