The St. Louis Cardinals found every last ounce of their offense in the sixth and deciding game of the NLCS against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

If the bats work like they did in Game 6, the Cardinals will have no trouble dispatching any team from any era. Of course, we know that isn’t how baseball works, so MLB Contributor Gabe Zaldivar discusses the good and bad news as the Cardinals embark on their next and final step of the 2013 season.

While there may be questions regarding the back end of the rotation, Shelby Miller’s role and an offense that can get stagnant at points, there is a bevy of reasons to think the Cardinals will add yet another World Series title to their prolific postseason history.

A potent offense, timely hitting and brash bullpen are just what will get this team a championship.

Of course, there may be room to mention that Michael Wacha kid.
