Jackson had 10 carries for 35 rushing yards and four catches for 13 receiving yards Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals. He was targeted five times to teammate C.J. Spiller’s two in the passing game.
Jackson was unable to capitalize on Spiller’s mediocre performance thanks to a sound-tackling Cincinnati defense and the fact the Bills were playing from behind. In his first start, quarterback Thad Lewis did not look to his running backs for much in the passing game and made plays downfield instead.
