Sanders caught three passes for 70 yards and a touchdown in the Steelers’ win over the New York Jets on Sunday. He was targeted six times, but did most of his damage on a 55-yard TD completion that stood as the lone big play of the day for the Pittsburgh passing game.
Sanders set up the short passing game featured Sunday by representing the deep threat that kept New York honest. He finally hit on the big play the Steelers have lacked this season, which gave them the boost needed to finally get over the hump and notch their first win.
