Russell Wilson: Recapping Wilson's Week 6 Fantasy Performance

RotoWireContributor October 14, 2013

Wilson completed 23-of-31 passes for 257 yards with no touchdowns and no interceptions to help lead the Seahawks past the Titans 20-13 on Sunday. Though he failed to find the endzone, he did manage to add to his fantasy totals with 61 yards on 10 carries.
This is the second time in three games Wilson has failed to throw a touchdown pass and just the first time since Week 1 that he's thrown for more than 250 yards. He is maintaining his value via the run as he's accumulated 294 yards on 50 carries thus far. However, he cannot survive on the run alone and needs to start connecting with his wide receivers more regularly throughout games. Stronger run defenses will start to contain him more so if he doesn;t become a more well-balance quarterback, his fantasy value is going to suffer greatly.
