Kaepernick completed 16-of-29 passes for 252 yards with two touchdowns and one interception during the 49ers' 32-20 win over the Cardinals on Sunday. He also ran the ball four times for 18 yards.
It was Kaepernick's first game with more than 200 passing yards over his last five starts and just his third game with multiple touchdown passes. While the passing hasn't been at its strongest, his biggest shortcoming has been the complete lack of running. Perhaps the foot issue that lingered over the last few weeks had more of an impact than originally perceived, but running the ball and rushing touchdowns were a major selling point for fantasy owners who drafted the second-year starter this season. If he's not going to run, then he is going to need more games like this one to, at least, post a positive fantasy value for his owners.
