Frank Gore: Recapping Gore's Week 6 Fantasy Performance

RotoWireContributor October 14, 2013

Gore carried the ball 25 times for 101 yards during Sunday's win over the Cardinals. It was his second 100-plus yard performance in his last three games but he did fail to find the endzone for the first time in that span.
The season started off slow for the veteran running back as the team forgot its run-first roots for a bit. But after an exchange with coach Jim Harbaugh regarding his lack of touches, Gore has seen a substantially increased role in the offense over these last three games. It was slow-going through the first half of this one as he racked up just 20 yards on a handful of carries, but once the 49ers solidified their lead, they turned to Gore to chew up both yards and the clock throughout the second half. Even at the ripe, old age of 30, Gore is being more than just productive enough to earn your trust as a regular starter, regardless of match-up, in your fantasy lineup.
