Rashard Mendenhall: Recapping Mendenhall's Week 6 Fantasy Performance

RotoWireContributor October 14, 2013

Mendenhall carried the ball 10 times for 40 yards and caught one pass for two yards during the Cardinals loss to the 49ers on Sunday. Though he's managed to stay healthy this season, his production level has been extremely low, failing to rush for more than 66 yards in a game while tallying just two touchdowns all year.
Mendenhall's lack of production hardly comes as a surprise here as few people were sold on him maintaining the starting job in Arizona all year. He's already losing carries to Andre Ellington who also has an advantage as a pass-catcher, something that has not been a strong suit for Mendenhall in his career. He retains his fantasy value for now, but it is slipping fast.
