Justin Blackmon vs. Mike Brown: Fantasy Outlook After Cecil Shorts' Injury

With the injury to Cecil Shorts, the Jaguars have two other potential fantasy football receivers to pick up. Owners with Justin Blackmon will be in good shape, but I wouldn't be too eager to pick up Mike Brown, even in deeper leagues.

Since coming back from his suspension, Blackmon has been a bright spot on this struggling offense for the Jaguars. In his first game back against the St. Louis Rams, he had a big game, going for 136 yards and a touchdown on five catches.

For Brown, he's been banged up a bit himself and played in just one other game heading into Week 6. He had one catch for 14 yards against the Kansas City Chiefs back in Week 1 and likely won't make too much of an impact this year.

Expect Blackmon to continue to make big plays and be a reliable WR2 player. Meanwhile, don't pick up Brown unless you're in a seriously deep league and are incredibly desperate for another receiver.
