The New England Patriots were able to pull off a big comeback win over the New Orleans Saints, and Stevan Ridley was a big reason for that with a great fantasy performance.

The second quarter was very kind to Ridley.  He ran in a one-yard touchdown just two minutes into the quarter, then scored another touchdown on a four-yard run with less than eight minutes remaining in the half.

After that second touchdown, Ridley had already run for 35 yards and had a 14-yard reception.  In ESPN's standard scoring leagues, Ridley had already put up 16 points.

The Patriots' starting running back finished with 110 total yards and those two touchdowns, putting up 22 fantasy points.

Ridley needed a big game like this after such a slow start to the year.  Before this game, Ridley had run for just 174 yards and zero touchdowns on 47 carries.

With a performance like this one, Ridley has proven that he is a go-to guy to put in at the flex spot or even as an RB2 in deeper leagues.
