Thad Lewis Injury: Updates on Bills QB's Foot
Buffalo Bills quarterback Thad Lewis nearly catalyzed an upset victory in his team's Week 6 game against the Cincinnati Bengals, but that effort has seemingly left him as the latest Bills signal-caller to go down with an injury.
WGR550 in Buffalo's Joe Buscaglia reported that Lewis is in a walking boot, and Mike Rodak of ESPN Boston confirmed Lewis has a sprained foot:

It's unclear when exactly Thad Lewis was injured. He was seen limping off the field at Ralph Wilson Stadium after the game and underwent X-rays, but he played the entirety of the Bills' 27-24 loss to Cincinnati.
Lewis finished with 219 yards through the air on 19-of-32 passing, throwing touchdowns to Scott Chandler and Marquise Goodwin in the fourth quarter, helping bring Buffalo back from a 24-10 deficit. Making just his second start, Lewis also added 17 yards on seven carries, including a three-yard touchdown in the first quarter.
The Bengals received in overtime but were forced to punt. The Bills were then unable to score on their overtime possession. Cincinnati subsequently drove down the field, where Mike Nugent hit a 43-yard field goal to win the game.
While the short-term prognosis is still unclear, Lewis did seem optimistic about his status when speaking after the game:

Should Lewis have to miss any time, the Bills would again have to dip deep into their quarterback depth chart. Starting quarterback EJ Manuel sat out Sunday with a sprained knee and isn't expected to be back for next Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins. Primary backup Kevin Kolb is out for the season after suffering a concussion in the preseason.
That means the onus would likely fall to undrafted rookie Jeff Tuel. The Bills' expected Week 1 starter, Tuel replaced Manuel when he was hurt in Week 5 against the Cleveland Browns. He completed just eight of 20 passes for 80 yards, throwing a game-clinching interception late in the fourth quarter.
Lewis was subsequently named the starter for this week's contest in Buffalo.
