The Houston Texans started the season 2-0 but are on their way to a fourth straight loss, and free-agent quarterback Vince Young is letting his hometown team know that he is ready to go.
Let them know VY is in shape and ready to go! I always loved my birth place and everyone who lives in it IM READY— Vince Young (@VinceYoung) October 13, 2013
After throwing a pick-six in each of the previous four games, Houston quarterback Matt Schaub left due to an ankle injury while his team was getting blown out on Sunday. T.J. Yates came in and kept that streak alive, as Alec Ogletree returned a pick 98 yards for a touchdown near the end of the third quarter.
So that's five pick sixes for the Texans this season. Answer on NFL record for most against a team in a season: eight (2004 Dolphins).— Mike Garafolo (@MikeGarafolo) October 13, 2013
Young failed to make Green Bay's roster in the preseason, but the Texans may end up looking for help at some point if Schaub can't turn the team's season around.
