Joique Bell Injury: Reggie Bush Will Receive Major Boost in Fantasy
Detroit Lions running back Joique Bell left Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns with a rib injury, and any health issues with him should directly result in more production from Reggie Bush in fantasy.
The Lions' Twitter account reported Bell's fourth-quarter injury as questionable:
Detroit's two-headed monster at running back was in the midst of a productive day, with little of that coming from Bell. Hiss seven carries for 25 yards weren't all that impressive.
Meanwhile, Bush has emerged as a more favored option with 14 carries for 69 yards in the backfield midway through the fourth quarter, and he wasn't done there. He has also caught four balls for 49 yards and a touchdown on the day.
Bush's solid outing against Cleveland sparks a considerable amount of hope for his fantasy owners, especially after his up and down season that saw him recently put up just 69 total yards from scrimmage last weekend against Green Bay.
Should Bell miss an extended amount of time, Bush will receive even more looks in the backfield. Considering he had huge fantasy performances in his two games this season that he saw more than 20 touches, that should breed nothing but excitement for his fantasy GMs.
Detroit has used Bush as a very valued and utilized member of its offense, and that will only become more of a factor if Bell is out.
