Marshawn Lynch Injury: Fantasy Expectations for Seahawks RB vs. Titans
Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch's availability vs. the Titans on Sunday was tough to gauge coming in with a hip injury, but he's been ruled active and should have a relatively productive day for fantasy owners.
The team's Twitter account noted the inactive players, and Lynch (questionable throughout the week) wasn't one of them:
His team faces somewhat of a tough test as the surprisingly-stingy Titans come in sporting the 12th-best defense in yards and rank in the top 10 in points against.
However, Lynch has shown the ability to battle through adversity this season and may very well do it again. He was without four of his starting linemen last weekend against the Colts, and still managed to put up 17 carries for 102 yards.
He's also been a boss in two home performances this season, notching 36 total ESPN fantasy points throughout those two contests—both wins.
Tennessee's run defense has been solid all season long, but Lynch is the type of back that can neutralize that sort of impact. Just as well, he has a nose for the end zone.
It'd be naive to predict a huge day for Lynch, but nothing about this matchup indicates you should come anywhere near sitting him.
