The Rams were coming off a win over the woeful Jacksonville Jaguars, but even so, few could have predicted their lop-sided win over a talented Texans team.
The Rams now have back-to-back wins for the first time in 2013 and appear to have regained control of their season.
The St. Louis run defense struggled once again, allowing Houston to rush for 153 yards, but Arian Foster's one-man show was not enough to silence the Rams.
Sam Bradford scored three touchdowns on four red-zone appearances, while the St. Louis defense and special teams units each contributed a touchdown as well.
The Rams will travel to Carolina a week from now an attempt to regain a winning record.
The Texans will continue to search for answers as they travel to Kansas City a week from now to take on the unbeaten Chiefs.
