Israel held Portugal to a 1-1 draw in World Cup qualifying on Friday in Lisbon, all but confirming Portugal's place in the UEFA playoffs. But the bigger upset might have happened when the teams' No. 7s went head-to-head…and Cristiano Ronaldo came out second-best.

In the GIF below, watch as Ronaldo—Portugal's No. 7, in red—tussles with Israel's Eran Zehavi. If you're in any doubt as to who got the better of the confrontation, wait until you see Ronaldo's reaction at the end of it.

Yes, it's entirely possible Ronaldo might have been trying to decapitate Zehavi. Ronaldo escaped a booking, but in all fairness, Zehavi really should have been more focused on telling Ronnie how good his hair looked.

Gah.
