Victor Cruz: Recapping Cruz's Week 6 Fantasy Performance

RotoWireContributor October 12, 2013

Cruz received just five targets in Thursday's 27-21 loss to the Bears. Cruz finished the contest with four catches for 68 yards. He failed to find the end zone for the second-straight game.
Since a three-touchdown outburst at Dallas in the season opener, Cruz has found the end zone just one time over his last five games. Cruz suffered in this game specifically due to the fact that the Giants were finally able to run the ball with Brandon Jacobs. As such, there were less balls to go around. Hakeem Nicks also received more targets than Cruz, with 8. Still, Cruz remains an elite option at wideout despite his quarterback's struggles.
