Fred Jackson: Week 6 Fantasy Outlook
Jackson has been one of the best values in fantasy this year, consistently delivering starter-worthy totals despite topping 20 touches just once -- last week against Cleveland. He should again see somewhere in the neighborhood of 15-20 carries as well as several throws out of the backfield in what promises to be a run-heavy gameplan with the untested Thaddeus Lewis manning the QB position.
Ah, Fred Jackson -- the running back who refused to get old. Though he averaged just 3.1 yards on his 17 carries last week, he punched two balls into the end zone and caught 40 yards worth of passes, which is pretty much par for the course this year. Aside from a surprisingly untargeted Week 4, he's seen at least five passes come his way every game this year. CJ Spiller should have a heartier workload as his ankle continues to improve, but Jackson's proven that he can be quite productive in a timeshare.
