Fight Announcement: Josh Hill (Team Tate) vs. Michael Wootten (Team Rousey)
My top prospect in Josh Hill goes up against the last pick on Team Rousey. Hill is an extremely skilled ground fighter and was my pick to win the show coming into the series.
Wootten is tough, but his fight to get into the house was unimpressive.
Miesha went to shake hands with Ronda, but yeah, that didn't happen. I'm sure she'll get criticized for that.
Afterwards, Ronda consoles Jessamyn in the lobby. Yeah, Ronda may be unsportsmanlike or whatever at times, but she is a great coach and friend to her fighters.
Tough to see Duke lose. She has great potential moving forward. As for Pennington, she is tough as nails and a powerhouse in her own right. Scary lady right there.
Official decision: Raquel Pennington def. Jessamyn Duke via decision
That was an amazing fight. Though I scored it for Duke, it was so close you can't even be upset with it going the other way. Both ladies are incredibly tough and are great prospects in the sport.

Duke vs. Pennington Rd. 3
This fight is off the chain. This round is going to be awesome.
There are some feel out exchanges before both land some shots. Pennington lands a couple of hard shots, but Duke answers back with some good kicks.
Halfway through the round and it's so close. For every power punch Raquel lands, Duke lands a good shot as well.
Duke lands a head kick, but Raquel shakes it off like it was a mosquito that landed on her head. Duke is starting to land some more, but Raquel answers.
About a minute left in the fight when Duke lands a solid combo. Raquel fires back with some huge punches. Duke gets her in the clinch and lands some hard knees. Raquel is busted wide open and they swing all the way until the bell.
What a fight! That last round was close.
B/R scores rd. 3 10-9 for Duke

Duke vs. Pennington Rd. 2
Same thing to start the second round. Duke takes the center and they feel each other out. Duke using a lot of kicks, Raquel more punches.
Duke gets her in the clinch and lands some beautiful knees, but Raquel counters with some powerful punches.
There are some fierce exchanges when Raquel gets her against the cage and lands some huge punches. Man, Jessamyn is tough.
Duke gets Raquel in the Thai clinch and lands. That's her best move in this fight and she should keep using that.
They end the round exchanging, and this will likely go to the third round.
B/R scores rd. 2 10-9 for Pennington
Duke vs. Pennington Rd. 1
There is a feeling out process with Duke taking the middle of the cage. Duke throws a leg kick that gets caught by Pennington. They clinch along the cage.
Jessamyn tries a standing guillotine, but she doesn't have the angle, so it's really like a front headlock.
Raquel nails her on the way out of the clinch. They exchange more on the feet, with Duke landing more from a distance. She is really using her kicks nicely.
Both ladies are landing some solid combos. Raquel more with her hands, Jessamyn with kicks and knees.
Duke is far more technical, but Raquel has more raw power. This round was close, but we'll give it to the Team Rousey member.
B/R scored rd. 1 10-9 for Duke
I totally want to see Bad Grandpa.— Kaitlin Young (@kaitlin_young) October 10, 2013
Really agree, I think that movie will be comedy gold.
The fights ready to begin. Buckle your seat belts because that means this one will be a while. And that's not a bad thing.
Damn Jessamyn Duke is lean and ripped. Another chick I wouldn't want to have pissed at me if I were at the bar.
The girls get back at Anthony by waking him up early and flipping him in his bed. Awesome prank Farva!
That hooters girl tried to touch one the guys n he dodged it like the matrix hella funny— Michelle Ould (@MichelleOuldMMA) October 10, 2013
Anthony Gutierrez is drunk and being annoying. It could be worse, he could have been a violent or idiotic drunk like Rob Browning or Josh Koscheck were in their respective seasons. But yeah, I could see how annoying that could be.
There was no tiff between Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate at this party. That's a good thing. That being said, there was probably way more space to hang out being a pool party as opposed as a smaller party room.
Hooters girls and no guys for us ladies to look at? Wtf?— sarah moras (@sarahcheesecake) October 10, 2013
