Brady completed 18-of-38 passes for 197 yards and tossed an interception against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. For all the team's shortcomings, it was just the Patriots quarterback's third interception through five games.
The Bengals handed New England its first loss of the season and snapped Brady's streak of 52 games with at least one passing touchdown. Brady and the 4-1 Patriots finally ran into an opponent they could not defeat with an undermanned roster, with Brady is throwing to a host of targets who were not part of the receiving corps last season. Until tight end Rob Gronkowski returns to the field, Brady is unlikely to post his customary gaudy numbers.
