Boston Parent Writes Note to Excuse Kid from School for 'Red Sox Fever'

Playoff baseball fever has struck again.

A Boston parent wrote a note to a teacher to excuse her lucky child from school, citing "Red Sox fever" as the reasoning behind the absence. We hope for this kid's sake that he doesn't get the "grumpy child syndrome" afterward.
