Oktoberfest is one of the most fun times of the year in Germany, and for those of us who can't be there in Bavaria, trying a host of beers and wearing lederhosen, we need not fear. There is always the consolation of watching the Bayern Munich team do so instead.
This year's edition features new manager, the Spaniard Pep Guardiola, doing a standout job of blending in with the locals.
Here are some of the finest photos from the weekend's fun.

Pictured with his partner Sarah Brandner, Bastian Schweinsteiger is as unafraid of rocking fancy dress and drinking a beer as he is subtly bossing a midfield.
Probably not overheard during the taking of this picture:
"Chug! Chug! CHUG! CHUG! CHUUUG!"
We are reliably informed that Franck Ribery is photographed next to a double of former Bavarian King Ludwig.
We suspect that Ribery would prefer it if the king had been pictured next to a double of Franck Ribery.
The midfielder from Spain is in his first season with Bayern Munich and currently injured. No wonder there's time for a quick pint.
Sure, he was there. However, Arjen Robben is going to leave the lederhosen to the people in his family who can protest the least—his children.
The hat alone.
Wow, the hat.
David Alaba would rather cover up his lederhosen. His girlfriend? Not so much.
Remember, Javi Martinez: The beer is more scared of you than you are of it.
Defender Daniel van Buyten treated the family to a day out.
On the evidence of this picture at least, some enjoyed it more than others.
It almost looks as if he's in disguise.
