Jason Witten had a huge game against the Denver Broncos in Week 5, and fantasy football owners were thrilled with the performance.

The Dallas Cowboys lost 51-48 to the Broncos, but the numbers were impressive for Witten.  He had seven receptions for 121 yards and a touchdown, making it one of two great outings this season for the veteran tight end.

Heading into Sunday, Witten had caught 21 passes for 192 yards and two touchdowns.  His biggest performance came in Week 1, catching eight passes for 70 yards and two touchdowns.

While there are stud tight ends like Jimmy Graham and Tony Gonzalez, Witten has put up big games over the past few seasons and has continued to be a consistent option capable of putting up games like this.  He was the fifth-leading scorer among tight ends in the 2012 season, putting up 115 points in ESPN standard scoring leagues.

It was a great day for Witten, and owners are hoping for more of the same this season.
