If you're a fan of Notre Dame, you don't want to miss this video.
The school has released its "ICON" video which provides a unique look at what the Fighting Irish went through before, during and after its game against Arizona State, which was part of the Shamrock series.
The video, which was produced by Fighting Irish Digital Media, features camera shots from the sideline as well as sights and sounds you may not have heard during the television broadcast.
This particular view into Notre Dame football is especially exciting for fans, because the team beat the Sun Devils, 37-34. The win comes after a home loss to Oklahoma and provides positive momentum heading into the bye week.
The Shamrock series is unique to Notre Dame, and according to the article, it's designed to help Notre Dame gain exposure across the country.
Of course, that may sound silly to those who hear about the team every single week, regardless of location, but when it results in fantastic games like the one Saturday, no one should be complaining.
Typically, Notre Dame has been fairly conservative with its approach to uniforms. But on Saturday, the school brought out brand-new digs which were as flashy and attention-grabbing as any. If you were paying close attention, you'd remember that Brian Kelly foreshadowed this in May.
And just to put some clarity to the Shamrock Series…it’s my chance to listen to everybody talk about our crazy uniforms. I love it.
And we got some uniforms this year. If you didn’t like the shamrock, and the blue shamrock, if you didn’t like that one, you’re going to hate this year’s. It’s gonna be awesome. So I’m just getting you ready for it.
The team is now 4-2 and will play host to USC following the bye.
