After scoring a total of 31 points through the first four games, maybe the Jacksonville Jaguars should keep whatever points they put on the board.
Josh Scobee made a 23-yard field goal with his team down 24-10, but the St. Louis Rams were flagged for offsides. Jaguars coach Gus Bradley accepted the penalty and went for it on 4th-and-goal from the 2-yard line.
Being Jacksonville, Blaine Gabbert's pass was picked off in the end zone by James Laurinaitis.
ESPN's Trey Wingo sums up the play best:
That sums up the Jags season. Bradley takes FG off the board to go for it on 4th and short.. Gabbert throws endzone INT #facepalm— trey wingo (@wingoz) October 6, 2013
Next time, just take the points.
