Cecil Shorts Injury: Stat Projections for Jaguars WR vs. Rams
Despite being listed as questionable this week, Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Cecil Shorts is expected to play, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN:

Shorts is the team's leader in receptions (26 on 51 targets) and receiving yards (337). Normally, Shorts is a no-brainer play since he's his team's No. 1 receiver, but the Jags will welcome back troubled wide receiver Justin Blackmon this week after serving a four-game suspension.
Blackmon could very well take some targets away from Shorts and that will be especially true if Shorts isn't playing at 100 percent in this game and doesn't look to be his normal self.
In 2012, Blackmon had more receptions and targets, although Shorts finished with more yards and touchdowns. Still, another top receiver in the mix could hurt Shorts' production, so start him with caution against the Rams.
Not to mention, St. Louis has a solid pass rush and with the ineptitude of the Jags up front, quarterback Blaine Gabbert may not have enough time to get the ball out to his teammates.
Stat Projection: 5 catches for 45 yards and no touchdowns.
