England manager Roy Hodgson made an appearance on the BBC's Match of the Day Saturday night to analyse the weekend's fixtures.

The BBC were clearly glad to have him—so glad, in fact, that they gave him the tag of the Premier League's all-time top goalscorer.

It was a caption apparently meant for Alan Shearer, a fellow pundit on the programme and actually the all-time top goalscorer in Premier League history.

Nonetheless, it's caused plenty of mirth on Twitter.
