Clark Judge of CBSsports is reporting that the Colts are keeping Howard Mudd and Tom Moore as consultants. Moore was the Colts offensive coordinator last season and Mudd was the Colts offensive line coach last season. Clyde Christenson will move up from receivers coach to offensive coordinator, and Pete Metzelaars will replace Mudd.
"They're long-time friends," said Jim Irsay, the Colts owner. "I told them, 'It's business, but be rational. No one is trying to stick it to you. Don't make it 'us against the world' and the big-bad owners. That's not the case. There is uncertainty, but that's life. I'm not going to let anything happen to you that's unjust.'"
The Colts offense should be just as potent as it has always been. I am not sure how much worse Gonzalez is than Harrison, but I can tell you it is not by that much. Austin Collie should provide a spark. Donald Brown will also be a huge lift. The Offensive line is about the same. More of the same. The Colts will make the playoffs and win 12 games.
