College GameDay's David Pollack Doesn't Want Women on the Selection Committee

Tristan ThornburghSocial Media StaffOctober 5, 2013

Following the announcement that Condoleezza Rice was named to the college football selection committee, College GameDay analyst David Pollack made everyone uncomfortable as he explained that committee members should have played football, essentially stating that women should not be allowed.

ESPN sportscaster Samantha Ponder and a few others on Twitter did not take kindly to his comments.

Verbally destroying @davidpollack47 on the bus for his comments about Condi. Next, he makes me a sandwich.

I'll leave it at this ... the women I know in sports media would be a bigger value add to the Gameday crew than David Pollack.
