NASCAR announced today that Carl Long, driver of the No. 46 car in the Sprint Cup Series; and Danielle Long, owner of the No. 46 car in the Sprint Cup Series, have been fined 200 driver and owner points respectively, and have received a 12 race suspension from all NASCAR sanctioned events.

Charles Swing, crew chief of the No. 46 team in the Sprint Cup Series, has also been suspended for 12 races and fined $200,000.

The infraction, found during the All-Star Race weekend at Lowe’s Motor Speedway, was found after their engine exceeded the 358.000 cubic inch maximum.

All parties have also been placed on probation until December 31, 2009.

The team was not on the preliminary entry list for this weekend’s Coca-Cola 600.
